No footpath and verge grass that is rarely cut

There is no footpath to our house and you have twice refused to do anything. I get funds are short but there has now been a Nasty crash right by my house because people drive to fast and I have to walk my children to school along here! If you won’t extend the footpath could you at least keep the verges cut low so we can walk along them and off the road to be safer! I 4 children all of whom would use that footpath every day and as the youngest is 5 we gave a lot of years of walking to school to go so it would get plenty of use! Please think about the safety of these children before you refuse to look into it again. Even a gravel path would do! Thanks
