Pavement damaged during roadworks

Reported via desktop in the Pavements category by Susan Leech at 17:21, Friday 30 September 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The pavement outside The Old Rectory was damaged by lorries driving over it during the Western Power road works. O'Connor Utilities who did the work says it is not their problem, but many of the lorries going over the pavement were theirs. I am on the Parish Council and the resident has complained that nothing is being done

  • One part repaired but several other trip hazards from broken up tarmac. 2 identified by paint markings. One repaired today. One not repaired and several not repaired or marked for repair. I tripped and was lucky not to fall over on one if these yesterday. Pavement no longer accessible for wheelchairs and a high risk of falls and trips for the elderly.
