The area by the ford is completely overgrown and the water cannot flow freely

The area by the footbridge across the ford is completely overgrown and isn't allowing the water to flow freely. This will be a real problem if we get any more rain as the houses surrounding the ford will be much more prone to flooding. There is also a lot of mud that has accumulated. The area is prone to flooding and it would help everyone if this was cleared.
