The downpipe drain is blocked under the pavement outside our house and the backup of water is entering our house. This is causing problems with damp skirting boards and plaster inside the house. We don't know if the water drains into a main drain or into a soakaway. The drain needs to be cleared or diverted under the pavement to the street for drainage. We moved into the house two months ago, so cannot say how long the issue has been present, but the damp is apparent inside the house which means the issue has been ongoing for some time,
