Broken cover on footpath

Reported via mobile in the Pavements category by Vicky Boorman at 08:53, Thursday 29 September 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

Hi following the work by Gigaclear along Woodlands Road this small inspection frame has been broken and the cover does not fit properly. This causes a trip hazard and has been observed having come off, completley causing danger to pedestrians falling in the chamber.

Council ref: ENQ22934595

  • Today I watched an elderly woman fall through this cover. I ran over to help as she was injured quite badly. I would like to see some priority placed here or some temporary markers warning people of the hazard, as it gets darker this will only happen more often!
