Light nuisance from street light

Reported via desktop in the Other Lighting Issue category anonymously at 22:32, Wed 28 September 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

To give an indication of the light nuisance we are experiencing, the photos have been taken with the blinds up and down whilst looking out from our main bedroom windows at the rear of our house. The street lamp in the centre of the photos is located on the opposite side of the road and I would estimate the light itself is approximately 10-20’ above the roof of our property. The photos were taken between 10 and 10.30pm and having lived in the property for 6 months now throughout the spring/summer, our growing concern is the street light will be in use for longer due to the darker evenings. The photo taken of the shadow on the opposite wall to our larger bedroom window provides an indication of the brightness of the light that shines into our bedroom.
