Tree becoming dangerious

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Due to recent flooding along this street due to poor storm drain blockages washing away soil, the tree outside 19B Broad Gap, Bodicote OX15 4DE is becoming unstable and roots now showing and tree leaning towards property. The tree needs felling.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited site and observed the tree in its location. The tree appears to be in a reasonable condition on inspection with few defects observed. The rooting area has become slightly exposed to the south side of the base of the stem, but not to the extent that it would affect the trees overall stability, requiring it to be removed. On this occasion no further statutory works are appropriate on the tree at this time. Should you notice a significant decline in the tree’s overall health, please feel free to get back in touch with us.
