Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The cycle path and footpath in Sherwood Avenue Abingdon is in a very poor condition and needs resurfacing. This runs from the entrance at the back of St Edmunds School up to the traffic lights at Audlett Drive. Particularly the slope from St Edmunds School up to the turning. Concerns about motor scooters and pedestrians in particular, using the paths.

Thank you for your report, we are now investigating this issue and an update will be posted as soon as possible. SU/RT reports: This report refers to the path signed as Daisy Bank path, which runs East of Audlett Drive for 1km+. The tarmac surface is poor in several places due to wear or old repairs. There are paving slabs misaligned with age. The dip on the branch to St Edmunds School is clear and a potential difficulty for some users. Volunteers have cleared vegetation improving width in many places (some more planned). Suggest a walking survey to assess full maintenance needs, perhaps with NM of Sustrans who coordinates volunteers.
