Dangerous groove in road

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category by Robin Tucker at 11:01, Tue 27 September 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Concrete road surface has groove in middle that has caused several cyclists to crash. In researching material for a BBC Radio Oxford item on road maintenance 27/9/22 I asked cyclists where issues were and several reported crashes at this location. I have personally witnessed one where a tyre got stick in the groove and the cyclist crashed to the ground (I narrowly avoided them). The groove may be there for concrete expansion but could be filled with a flexible compound.
