Car parking spaces

Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 20:54, Saturday 24 September 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Good afternoon Would you be able to advise me on who is responsible for making out parking spaces please? I live in Green Lane, Banbury & have private parking (right at the bottom on the right) in a designated slot but am unable to park there due to so many visitors, number of cars per household & people from the hospital parking there. Would it be possible to have the spaces (about 7 of them) to have their house numbers on and the lines reinstated please as there are none at the moment. If not, can I do my own? How wide am I to make my space please? I have contacted the council who told me to contact you. Thank you

  • Thank you for your report. Where the parking bays are is not highway land. Therefore, you will need to contact the relevant landowner with regards to your query. This could potentially be the Cherwell district council.
