Further to ENQ22933022 about drain subsided/raised ironwork

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 11:12, Saturday 24 September 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This has been attended to but not "fixed". I raise this again as I want to be sure that you, and I, get good value for money from your road maintenance contractor. The subsided drain has simply had is edges smoothed and the second raised iron work cover has simply had tarmac mounded around it, The original problem has not been resolved at all in fact has been exacerbated as the dip from the drain still exists causing people to move to the centre of the road approaching the corner and there is now a mound around the second cover which is even more uneven than before. Bad enough in car and really bad on a motorcycle an bicycle.
