Trees overgrown grass traffic lights

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 10:43, Saturday 24 September 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

On approach from Radley Road into Audlett Drive, it’s very difficult to see the traffic lights until you are nearly upon them. Trees are growing over all the signals on both sides of the road. Could not get photo as I was driving. This has been like this for at least 4 weeks.

Council ref: ENQ22934294

  • Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited site and inspected the trees & vegetation as described in the enquiry. The vegetation is growing beyond the area that the County Council maintains and is therefore, deemed to be the boundary feature to the public highway. As such, the vegetation specified in your enquiry is the responsibility of the adjacent property / landowner to maintain as they wish. Should you require information on the highway boundary, please contact our highway records team at: highway.records@oxfordshire.gov.uk

    State changed to: Investigation complete
