Freeman Road footways resurfacing

Reported via desktop in the Current Roadworks category anonymously at 18:38, Thu 15 September 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

A few weeks ago, the footway edges were machine cleaned, in preparation for the forthcoming resurfacing. Heavy rain since then has washed soil back onto the surface, also there are still weeds in some areas. If this is not rectified the new surface will not adhere correctly and the surface will subsequently break up.

  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Oxfordshire County Council at 18:38, Thu 15 September 2022

  • We reported that on the pavement outside our house there were bushes growing and are very tall and obstruct people. This was reported several times and we were told that someone would come out and look. The pavement is now being resurfaced now as i write this and the bushes are still there which means that not all the pavement has been done.
