Pitch black car park

Reported via desktop in the Other Lighting Issue category anonymously at 18:47, Saturday 10 September 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The light fitting on wall of 5 Ferriston was removed almost a year ago as was in danger of falling. It has never been replaced, all wiring still in place ! Now nights getting darker, the public footpath and car park is in total darkness, causing a danger from falling down step and security walking past garages on public footpath. This was reported just after light removed as being dangerous, nothing been done !

Council ref: 3816396

Updates

  • This problem still has not been fixed ! There are however workmen replacing street lighting on all surrounding roads, lights that were working perfectly ! We still have a very dangerous public area, used daily by people living locally, and by 6pm walking in total darkness. Why ?
