Excessive flooding from drain outside of Shangri-La into property garage

Reported via desktop in the Drainage category by John Wilkinson at 17:26, Tuesday 6 September 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This is an ongoing problem which I have been in contact with Jamie Raffell in the past. The issue will not be fixed until the drain pipework is cleared between Shangri-La and the drain outside No. 1 Dorchester Road and then under the road into the open ditch. This was successfully cleared back in June 2016 by Lanes for Drains when they used their extra long water jet pipe clearer from the drain outside No. 1 and it remained unblocked until early 2021. Attached pictures are of both ends of the pipe requiring attention, first pic outside Shangri-La and the second 2 pics are of the access cover outside No.1.

  • Ref ENQ22933306 Can I please get an update on your plan to fix this problem, it’s been 6 weeks now since I recently reported it and we experienced another excessive flooding today which flooded into my garage workshop meaning I have to raise everything off the floor. As you know this problem has not been fixed properly since I reported it in early 2021. Thank you
