Blocked drain!

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

We appreciate that work has now been scheduled after 8 years of reporting the drainage and potential flood risks on Woodstock Road Charlbury. Last night at 22:30 my husband was clearing the drains in a thunder and lightening storm! He put the debris in our bins. There really are insufficient drains on the downward 1/4 mile into Charlbury and when those two are blocked the momentum builds and the debris and water that cannot drain away is brought down the hill quickly blocking the two drains at the bottom of the hill. Following the storm last night and with further storms forecast it would certainly be beneficial for the road sweeper to attend as soon as possible.
