Serious narrowing of footpath (which used to be a bridleway)

Reported via desktop in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 17:14, Sunday 4 September 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Massive overgrowth and trees hanging over the path. The tarmac path should be at least 4 feet wide, if not more. I was knocked off my bicycle by the overhead branches. I believe it is the landowners responsibility for each side of the path. Many horseriders use this path as will and it has become so narrow it is dangerous now. Would be grateful if something can be done by the council. The landowners at the Childrey end of the path are really good and keep it all cut back. If it is the landowners responsibility perhaps the Council could contact them and remind them of their responsibilities please.
