Loose manhole cover

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

A new manhole has recently been installed in the road and the cover is loose. every time a car passes over there is a loud 'clack'. This is very irritating and the noise keeps me awake at night.

  • I did not originally report this but I can confirm that the noise as every car goes over the manhole cover is very intrusive, particualrly at night. The cover was fitted in the middle of summer and started rattling when the air temperatures cooled. It obviously needs re-setting.
