New lighting affecting fish pond

Reported via desktop in the Other Lighting Issue category anonymously at 19:35, Fri 2 September 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

New brighter LED bulbs were fitted which are brighter and have larger fall-off. A fish pond is directly beneath the street light and we have noticed with the lights turning on earlier that the brighter lighting is affecting the fish as they no longer have darker areas where they used to hide during the night.

Healthy fish need day and night light cycles with a period of darkness which otherwise can cause them stress. Please could a cover be installed as soon as possible to reduce the additional light from the new bulbs shining into the pond?
