Large dip in the road surface

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 17:31, Thursday 1 September 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There is a dip in the road on Brereton Drive adjacent to the far end of Brunel Crescent. This is on the west lane of the road. It doesn't look like it is that bad, but large vehicles such as buses and lorries come down this road every day and when they hit this bump, it shakes the foundations of our house. The vibration can be felt on the upper floor of our property and makes the ceiling in the room make cracking sounds. I don't want our house to become damaged by the condition of the main road nearby.

  • This dip has now turned into a large, dangerous sink hole. So big a cone had been put in it. It needs attention ASAP.
