Give way markings on pavement / cycle track counter to new highway code

Reported via desktop in the Suggested improvements category anonymously at 16:29, Sat 27 August 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

My understanding of the new highway code is that cyclist and pedestrians crossing this side road now have right of way over vehicles turning into / out of the side road. Hence the 'Give way' makings on the pavement / cycle track are incorrect and are not in keeping with the new highway code and the revised priorities at junctions. Could these markings be removed ? Are there ways of modifying the marking on the road to reinforce the new priority of the pavement users crossing the junction?
