Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The signs and road markings to warn of this chicane are almost non existent , vehicles are regularly seen to take avoiding action to miss this chicane, when coming inform the Cassington direction. I had a near miss yesterday when l had to avoid a vehicle doing just that ! There are marks on the road where your engineers have been inspecting , this was weeks ago, nothing has been done since, all the road markings to Cassington are in a very poor state, and need urgent attention. This includes Slow at the bridge, give way and slow at the bend and junction to Worton Park., an occasional 40mph on the carriage way might remind a few travelling this route of the speed limit! This has been reported over a year ago. It is an accident waiting to happen, I personally have had and witnessed near misses here. I know that this was reported to your sub Contractors earlier this year and it still hasn't been fixed. Not really acceptable.

This sign was knocked down a year ago. It has subsequently been removed but it is a priority give way sign for approaching traffic. This is the 3rd time this has been reported, and it has even been reported to your contractors. It is dangerous and unacceptable, please confirm when this will be resolved, I am also making the Parish Council aware of the fact that you are ignoring what is a dangerous issue.
