Road flooding

Reported via desktop in the Gully and Catchpits category by Chris Hill at 15:52, Fri 19 August 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

As I have previous indicated the issues during storms can cause issues in two ways. Firstly, the rubbish like plants and soil that come down Rye Hill, and secondly the amount of water that is not intercepted before the end of the close. It is my understanding that this then flows, at some point, into the foul sewer via the pumping station behind 1 Heath Close. My concern is that the sewer culvert along Heath Close is severely blocked or closed, thus stopping the flow of water away from the close.
