All the pavements we walked in the pedestrian area and where the buses go, are FILTHY! what visitors to Oxford think about the vomit, bird poo, cigarette ends, beer cans, paper litter, etc strewn along gutters and doorways I dread to think! City of dreaming spires? No chance to look upward, one has to have their eyes on the ground to avoid heaven knows what! The streets need washing! This is a world-renowned city-and it is disgusting!
