The middle bollard has rotted away from its fixing for the past year.

Reported via mobile in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 10:45, Wednesday 17 August 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The middle bollard of this set of three has been broken for the past year. Attempts by us and neighbours to put it back have failed because the below ground timber fixing appears to be rotted away. This et of bollards are on Woodstock Road Witney between numbers 95 and 93.( east bound A4095).

  • Thank you for your report. We do tend to use vergemasters to protect areas like this any more. Further information on verge protection is available on our website. The way this is managed now is by wooden verge protection posts, paid for by the customer. If you are interested in pursuing this please contact OCC again via Fix My Street and I will arrange for a quotation for three wooden posts with reflectors.
