Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
There is significant debris built up on the road verge preventing surface water reaching the nearby drains. Water has overflowed the kerb, crossed the pavement and onto my drive. The drive slopes toward the garage and house and has flooded the front part of the garage.
Thank you for your enquiry. This issue has been passed onto the relevant team for investigation.

Thank you for your enquiry. The extreme and heavy rainfall of Tuesday, 16th August, 22 caused flash floods throughout Cherwell. During these flash floods the surface water accumulates quicker than it can be absorbed into the ground or dealt with by the drainage systems causing the drainage system to be very quickly overwhelmed. The surface water then requires time to disperse.
We have visited this location today, 24.8.22, All Gullies are completely clear and there was no debris found on the verge or carriageway which would have any impact on the drainage system requiring further action.
