Pothole increasing as trench across road subsides

The trench across the road is subsiding and on the eastbound side of the carriageway it is getting deeper which is causing increasingly more severe tremors to be felt in the houses adjacent. These tremors are felt most when large, heavy vehicles pass and drop into it.
