When coming off the a34 towards newbury there are 3 lanes and a slip road to choose from. The 3 lanes say Didcot, Didcot, Wantage from left to right respectively. However the road markings for the middle didcot lane mislead drivers into crossing over into the lane that goes to wantage. As a result, every time I get to this road I worry that the person in the didcot lane will slide across into my lane, and this often leads to near incidence or a driver beeping at another driver. I have not only experienced this myself, but I have also seen it happen regularly to drivers in front of me. I do not understand how someone has designed it so poorly but it needs to change as I am going to start seeking compensation for the issues this causes if it is not address and rectified quickly
Thank you for your enquiry. This issue has been passed onto the relevant team for investigation.

Thank you for your report. We have assessed it and found that it does not currently meet the criteria for intervention, as we have found that the road markings are correct and clear. And that driver influence is main issue here. But we will continue to monitor this Issue.
