Worn and missing curbstones causing hazard for tyres touching metal drainage channel

The curbstones along this stretch of pavement are almost non existent. Our neighbour reported the specific issue of the exposed drainage channel some months ago after bursting a tyre on it and a team came out to fix it but the splodge of tarmac they used is clearly inadequate - it leaves the corner of the drainage channel significantly proud still and will surely wear away to nothing in time. A replacement curbstone is needed.
