Tarmac has lifted on footpath in Faringdon Road Shippon near it's junction with White House Close

Reported via desktop anonymously at 12:15, Tue 9 August 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later

The tarmac, laid by Gigaclear, has lifted and is a hazard to pedestrians, wheelchair/ mobility scooters and cyclists especially in the hours of darkness. It has been like this for a few days but it is definitely getting worse.

Council ref: ENQ22931298

  • The traffic light timing seems to have changed. I use this road every day coming from Shippon over the bridge, I saw workmen there yesterday and this morning the lights are letting about 3 cars through and then changing. As you can imagine this is causing a build up of traffic and also means people are going through on red out of frustration. This made me and I’m sure many others late for work.
