Dangerous broken bollards

Reported via desktop anonymously at 09:45, Tuesday 9 August 2022

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Good morning,

Bollards have been erected outside the garages in preachers lane oxford. From number 37 down to 29. The local residents where not consulted in relation to the bollards being installed. Since the installation the bollards have been causing a lot of damage to vehicles in the street. These bollards have fallen apart and unfortunate do more harm than good. On Saturday evening around about 18:05 the bollard outside of 37 preachers lane damaged my tyre and rim. The bollard took a chunk out of my tyre and has left hair fracture on the rim. Due to this I had to get a temporary replacement tyre after the accident and today I am replacement the whole wheel on my vehicle. Please could you tell me how I can get a claim form for reimbursement for damages.

Kind regards

Deshawn
