Vicious pothole

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 17:06, Monday 8 August 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I was driving south into Oxford on Weds 3rd August approx 10.30 am and hit this pothole at normal road speed (within the speed limit) on the near side of the road (left side of car). It was a violent crash. Although I am unaware of any damage I am fearful something will be noticed at my next service/MOT i.e. tyre or wheel damage. I was unable to stop and go back to examine the road due to heavy traffic at the time and no-where to pull over. The position is approximate on the map but is fairly close to the twin speed cameras located here (either side of carriageway).
