Low hanging branches before bus stop. Likely cause of damage to double decker buses on route 800.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited site and inspected the trees & vegetation as described in the enquiry. The vegetation is growing beyond the area that the County Council maintains and is therefore, deemed to be the boundary feature to the public highway. As such, the vegetation specified in your enquiry is the responsibility of the adjacent property / landowner to maintain as they wish. If the occupier can be identified, in the first instance, a letter informing them of their duty of care will be issued.
