Willow tree again

Reported via Android in the Trees category anonymously at 13:13, Sun 7 August 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The householders have allowed their weeping willow on again to weep at head height over the footpath. This is not good for any of us pedestrians and is a particular problem for blind people. Why don't the householder have the offending branch removed entirely, then the willow can weep on their own property.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The trees present are on land maintainable by the adjacent landowner and not by the County Council. I have sent correspondence to the landowner, detailing the problem and advising that they carry out remedial works to resolve the situation.

    State changed to: Investigation complete
