Reported via desktop in the Grass category anonymously at 18:51, Wed 3 August 2022
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The Tree on council land is hitting the corner of the house and is in danger of causing damage. Please can it be cut back or removed. the tree also appears to have rot in the trunk where is sep[erates into two larger branches, and the roots from the tree are appearing near the house as new small trees. This has the potential to cause the homeowner serious expense if the foundations become damaged.

Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The trees present are on land not deemed to be part of the highway maintainable at public expense by OCC in the County’s capacity as local highway authority. A land registry search has confirmed that the trees are on land that is maintainable by Cottsway Housing Association and not by the County Council. We advise to contact them directly to pursue this enquiry further.
