Grass growing over tarmac
Reported via desktop in the Potholes and maintenance category anonymously at 08:10, Tue 2 August 2022
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This photo looking north along the cycletrack beside the A44 shows clearly in the parched grass along the sides how the grass is being allowed to grow over the tarmac. Here two feet are being lost on one side and one foot on the other, and the cycletrack has lost one third of its width. Maintenance is required.

I was going to report this also. The grass needs scraping away as has been done near Thrupp, back to the required width, easy to do at present in the drought. To save us pedestrians whose use this path a lot to Budgen's etc, to stop us from being run into by cyclists. Quite a danger here especially for older people & children. Glad to see already reported.

Thank you for your report. Our Highway Officer has programmed in a work gang to attend and side out the cycleway to restore it to its original width. Thank you.
