Long delays due to temporary traffic lights

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Long delays being caused by temporary traffic lights as part of roadworks. Lights need to be timed to match the flow of traffic! Incredibly long queues towards Ardington direction in the morning & towards Wantage direction in the evening. Please adjust timing!

  • It might help if the smartphone or tablet was taken away from the man sat in the van who is meant to be manually controlling the lights during peak times.

    He's obviously too engrossed in Facebook (or adult websites) to concentrate on the amount of traffic that is being held up.

    Can't think of any other reason why he is looking down into his lap instead of looking out of the windscreen.
