Safety bollards still not replaced

Reported via desktop anonymously at 15:49, Sat 30 July 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later

I wrote to 2020 - The wooden safety bollards at the T junction (outside Scots Grove House) now all been hit and destroyed. Vehicles turning have now mounted the verge which it getting damaged. In the dark, this junction is now dangerous as it is unlit and it is not possible to see where the edge of the road is. I was informed that the works had been budgeted for 2021, but nothing has happened.

  • Lorries and farm vehicles now cut the corner frequently and the edge of the verge continues to get eroded. This gets washed away in heavy rain (the gulleys are also blocked through lack of maintenance). The edge of the road is now exposed leading to multiple potholes. The bollards need to be replaced to prevent further damage.
