The garden wall of the adjacent cottage projects into the pavement such that it is not possible to get a wheel-chair past. That corner is very sharp and it is impossible to go into the road with a chair..

It is very difficult to get a wheelchair up the slope in the village hall front car park. An alternative is to go via Westfield. But the narrowness of the pavement outlined above makes this impossible. As a linked issue, the footpath to the north of the Village Hall has a more even and shallower slope than the VH car park. It would be possible to use this for wheelchair access to the VH but there are anti-cycling barriers - would it be possible to remove these and consider removing ALL such barriers which impeded wheel chairs- discriminating against disabled people is against the law.
