  • Many thanks, this route is not a road, rather a Byway Open to All Traffic (BOAT). A BOAT is a route which is used by the public mainly for the purposes for which footpaths and bridleways are used (i.e. walking, cycling or horse riding). We believe the condition is suitable for walkers, cyclists and horse riders therefore don't intend to take any action.
