Street lighting is restricted due to tree cover

New street lights fitted but existing tree branches not cut back therefore lights are restricted

  • Lamps were replaced sometime ago and asked installers to clear some branches to ensure best use of street lights. Was told to report to OCC

  • Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited the location and assessed the trees. The trees are the responsibility of the adjacent landowner and not Oxfordshire County Council. I will send a letter to the landowner, detailing the problem and advising that they carry out remedial works to remove any hazard to the highway.
