Temporary Traffic Lights & Roadworks (Part 1 of Two)
Reported via desktop in the Current Roadworks - live information category anonymously at 15:28, Tue 19 July 2022
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Regarding the roadworks on the A338 at the Fiveways Junction- there's nobody working there for the last two days. There are now another set of temporary traffic lights in Steventon Road (East Hanney), again, nobody is working there. With the cost of fuel and the frequency of roadworks in the area, one of them needs to go. They are both causing incredible stress and disruption to vehicle drivers in the locality.

I was held up again today by these roadworks and the Steventon Road (East Hanney) roadworks. Again, nobody working on either and there's an upcoming Truckfest which will add to the congestion in the area. There are signs in Steventon informing of the festival. If the roadworks are still ongoing it would be best to cancel the Truckfest as fuel is so high and people like me have multiple jobs to pay bills especially as inflation is currently 9.4% due to the high cost of fuel.
