Illuminated ‘SLOW DOWN’ junction sign not functioning correctly.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The sign for traffic coming from Carterton gives only a brief flash at vehicles and this only at the last moment (which would be too late for vehicles to slow down as the sign is at the top of the steep drop and close to the junction). The equivalent sign for traffic going in the other direction illuminates with traffic much further away and remains illuminated.
