Large vehicle and site compound encroaching on road

Reported via desktop in the Current Roadworks category anonymously at 15:49, Monday 11 July 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

A site compound has been set up in the street by Western Power. They have elected to park heavy machinery on the main road and place heras fencing around it. This is impeding the access to the road and due to the location is dangerous (you cannot see vehicles coming in the opposite direction). It is also forcing vehicles to mount the pavement.

As parklands is a cul-de-sac, this is not a suitable location for a site compound of this size. It should be re-located to the grass verge in the centre of Orchard Way where it would not impact on residents.
