We absolutely cannot have metal bollards as it is a risk to health and safety. The bollards need to be plastic and flexible to allow emergency services. However this means that when people have an accident the bollards are getting broken sadly.

LTN Bollard still not re-instated. There is a marked increase in traffic affecting Leopold street as well as Aston Street. Please re-instate the bollard asap.

No I don't think there has been any increase in traffic. And the LTN isn't designed to stop traffic but move it around. Everywhere is still accessible by car so you can't make that judgement.
