Road closed signs not early enough

Wallingford traffic light crossroads are closed for works but no prior signage meaning all vehicles are driving to the lights and then having to turn round and or reverse down the high street This is dangerous and disruptive in a residential area. Please signpost the closure earlier, and divert via Thames St as necessary
