Bollards missing from island

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The bollards are missing from this traffic island outside Radcliffe Observatory Quarter Gate 1 and the temporary signs, which have been there for months, are lying on their back. The island is almost invisible after dark.

  • Bollards still missing. Concrete raised areas cannot be seen especially at night. Dangerous.

  • Thank you for your report. We have assessed it and found that it does not currently meet the criteria for intervention, so will not be fixing at this time. The bollards for records seem to been started to removed back in 2019. And it seems there are no plans to reinstate them currently.
