Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The Hanson Way cycle path between Marsh Lane and the road to South Moreton has been left in a bad state after SSE works.
I was previously advised to contact Sustrans who were said to be responsible but they state:
Sustrans hold an agreement for use of this route by cyclists but it is maintained by Oxfordshire County Council’s countryside team as it is a public right of way (footpath).
We were not consulted about this recent work by SSE and I agree that the reinstatement is wholly inappropriate. Unfortunately it is not something we have the power or resources to put right ourselves.
I have raised this with various teams at OCC to put weight on SSE to reinstate to a suitable standard.
Could you please action before accidents happen?
