Box junction needed instead of keep clear markings

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 10:50, Friday 1 July 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

It would be extremely helpful if the junction between Elms Rd and West Way had a yellow box junction instead of the keep clear markings it currently has. Trying to turn right from Elms Rd (especially when the school is getting out or during rush hour) is very difficult.

  • Thank you for your report. The Construction Projects Team have responded, to your concerns, with this reply:

"There are no current plans to amend the markings at the junction to a yellow box junction however the Keep Clear marking will, as will the whole of the recently implemented works, continue to be closely monitored."

I am therefore closing this report.
