50mm deep gouge in grass caused by mower

Reported via mobile in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 13:22, Thursday 30 June 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The problem is direcly outside number 18 The Rydes. This gouge has been getting deeper over the last year. Everytime the mowing contractor cuts the grass he is turning quickly and it has created a deep gouge in the verge. It is getting deeper and is now that deep it is a trip hazard. It could easily cause a sprained ankle or worse if stepped into. When repaired the cutting process will need to be addressed to prevent a reoccurrence.
